Introduction There is something special about the Scenic Rim in winter. The air is crisp, the mountain views are crystal clear, and the farm is buzzing with life. After the incredible success of our March Open Day, we’ve had so many people asking: "When can we come back?" We are thrilled to announce that our next major event is the Farm Gate Trail on July 26th, 2026. Whether you’re a regular at Ellia’s Garden or planning your first trip from Brisbane, here is what’s waiting for you this July.
What’s in Season for Picking?
July at Ellia’s Garden is all about hearty winter crops and beautiful blooms. Depending on the weather, our "Pick Your Own" patches are expected to feature:
Winter Veggies: Crisp brassicas and root vegetables.
Tropical Treats: We often have Bananas and Papaw ready to go.
Winter Blooms: We are hoping for a stunning display of Zinnias to brighten up your winter photos!
More Than Just Picking: Family Activities
If you visited us on March 29th, you saw how much the kids loved the space. For July, we’re keeping the favorites and adding more:
The Maze & Hay Bale Castle: Let the kids burn off energy in our signature playground.
Animal Cuddles: Our goats, sheep, and ducks love the cooler weather and are ready for feeding.
Row Boats & Farm Games: Classic outdoor fun by the dam.
Tractor Hay Rides: The best way to see the 150-acre property and take in the Great Dividing Range views.
