About Ellia’s Garden
Ellia’s Garden is a family-friendly agritourism destination and genuine agricultural operation in the beautiful Scenic Rim at the base of the Great Dividing Range, just an hour from Brisbane.

We’ve been living in the countryside for over ten years, continually blessed by the beauty of nature and a sense of calling to share it with others. In 2020, we began the Ellia’s Garden project with the vision of creating a place that echoes the Garden of Eden—somewhere young and old alike can reconnect with the wonders of the natural world and experience the blessings we’ve discovered by living as closely as we can to the way God intended us to live: in harmony with nature.

Our 150-acre property is hidden between rolling hills, bush forest, and private creek frontage, offering a rich variety of natural scenes for nature lovers, families, and anyone seeking rest and recreation in Queensland.

Here, you can enjoy the distinct sounds of wild birds—like kookaburras and cockatoos—take deep breaths of pure, unpolluted air, walk to stunning mountain views, spot wallabies at dawn or dusk, refresh by clear running waters, notice the fragrant smell of wildflowers and native trees, and delight in the ever-changing beauty of nature through the seasons.

More than just a genuine agricultural operation, Ellia’s Garden offers hands-on, family-friendly experiences: pick-your-own organic produce, feed friendly farm animals, explore our signature Hay Bale playground, get lost in our seasonal maze, and enjoy much more. From hay rides and row boats to flower picking and farm games, there’s something for every age and interest. With river frontage, panoramic views, and a commitment to sustainable, real farming, we invite visitors of all ages to discover the joys of authentic farm life and, most importantly, to make meaningful connections—because, at Ellia’s Garden, people are what really matter.

Our Vision & Purpose
At Ellia’s Garden, our vision is to help people rediscover what truly matters in life. We see, time and again, families arrive with kids who don’t even want to leave the car—caught up in their phones, social media, and endless entertainment. In today’s world, which is increasingly becoming false and artificial, it’s easy to feel disconnected from reality. We’ve watched parents gently encourage their children to step outside, and then, after a day spent exploring, laughing, and making memories here, those same children say, “This is the best day of my life. I don’t want to go home.” If this was the only reward for what we do, our hearts would be full.

We believe true happiness is not found in getting everything we want or having the best and most expensive things. Instead, it’s found in real connections—with nature, with each other, and, above all, with God through His created works. Our purpose is to delight in bringing people back to these simple, genuine joys—through nature, lasting memories, and real-life fun.

Meet the Owners
Curly and Marta are the founders and owners of Ellia’s Garden. Through their own life’s experiences and challenges, they’ve become very passionate about living simply and differently by following God’s principles of life. This is a learning curve that often requires sacrifice, hardship, and commitment; however, it brings the highest satisfaction as it teaches us to estimate things at their true value, and to give the most effort to the things of greatest worth—the things that will endure.

It is Curly and Marta’s desire to always keep learning and growing in this direction and share their journey to bless those around them.

The Meaning Behind Our Name
Ellia is Curly and Marta’s firstborn daughter. She was born in April 2019 and passed away in July 2020—the very same day that Curly and Marta became the owners of this property. While this chapter could be seen as a sad story, it is truly one filled with hope, happiness, and victory.

ELLIA means "My God is Yahweh". It was Curly and Marta’s faith in Yahweh, the God of the Bible, that gave them the vision to name this place after their daughter and dedicate their life to this meaningful project. Their purpose is to prepare for heaven, where they look forward to meeting their beloved Savior face to face and being reunited with their little Ellia—and to inspire others to want to be there too!

Our Farming Philosophy
For us, the story of good food starts right at the very beginning—back in the Garden of Eden. That’s where God first planted a garden and gave people the simple, joyful job of looking after it. He provided all the best things to eat: grains, nuts, fruits, and, a little later on, leafy greens. Originally, it wasn’t even part of the plan to take the life of any creature—things only changed after sin entered the picture.

At Ellia’s Garden, we really believe that the closer we get to God’s original way of doing things, the better off we’ll be—body, mind, and soul. That’s why we do our best to steer clear of harmful chemicals in our fields and grow produce that’s packed with all the good stuff: vitamins, minerals, and everything else your body needs.

But it doesn’t stop at the growing! We put all our creativity to use in the kitchen, too. When we prepare food for our visitors at the café, we make sure it’s not just healthy—it’s also tasty, simple, and truly unique. Our goal is to inspire you with every bite, so you’ll want to try these wholesome recipes—and maybe even the whole lifestyle—at home.
